AA meets at our church every Mon, Tues, Wed, and Thu nights between the hours of 6:30 - 8:00 PM. The meetings are closed so please respect their privacy - which they take seriously. Altar flowers this week are in memory of Peter Connors, (Sean Connors’ brother) whose funeral service was on Wednesday.
Administrative Council is next Tuesday March 25th at 7pm following Finance Committee at 6:30pm.

“Grab and Go” Community Breakfast this Saturday from 9-11 am
All are invited to participate in “A Lenten Journey to the Cross with UMC Area Churches . This will be a series of services this Lent, held on Tuesday’s at 6:30pm, rotating between the churches listed below for the weeks to come. The leader for each week will be from a different church. Light refreshments after each service will allow time for fellowship. Please contact Pastor Doug if you have any questions.

Sunday School this week - Young Disciples will continue to learn about Daniel in Babylon. What did he learn? We will read about why he became a role model for others and how he knew Shadrach, Meshach and Abendigo.
Easter Plant Sale: Our Easter Plant Sale continues with all orders due to the church office by Wednesday, April 2. Tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and lily plants are available at the cost of $12.00 a plant. Orders can be placed in the collection plate or put in the box labeled plant orders in the church office. Palm Cutting Party will be held on Wednesday, April 9th at 6:30 pm in the middle classroom. Bring something to cut with and a pair of gloves to help separate the palms. Thank you! Deb Cieslak

The SUMC Church & Society Social Justice Group will meet every 3rd Wednesday at 1:30PM from now until May. Summer meetings to be determined at a later date. See upcoming dates: April 16, May 21.

June is Pride Month and will be here before we know it. Burnt Hills UMC would appreciate our participation in making bracelets again this year. Kits for the bracelets are available from Carole Jacobson. They are easy and fun to make! The Rummage Sale will be Friday, May 2nd from 9-3 and Sat., May 3rd- 9-1. Volunteers are needed to start sorting and do set-up on Thursday, April 24-26 and Monday, the 28th through Thursday, May 1st. Sign-up sheets will be posted on the hall bulletin board. PLEASE ADD YOUR NAME TO THE LISTS!
Also, church folk can begin bringing their donations on Sunday, March 30. Please put them in Classroom 1 !
