Hayley Greenberg scored her 100th career goal for top-seeded North Brunswick but fourth-seeded South Brunswick used a six-goal second half to take home a 11-8 upset victory in the semifinals of the Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament in North Brunswick.

This was a revenge match for South Brunswick, which had lost to its rival twice during the regular season, 13-9 and 18-7.

The North Brunswick junior scored the first goal of the game for her milestone goal. Greenberg came into the game with 99 goals.

"She has a lot of speed, she has a really high lacrosse IQ," North Brunswick coach Danielle Bussiere said. "She is really good at reading the game. We hope to see big things from her next year."

Greenberg wants to play at the next level, but has not decided where to play yet.

Louisa Post-Swicker led South Brunswick with three goals and an assist while Madison Butler chipped in two goals and an assist and Margot Costello finished with two goals.

Greenberg finished with three goals and Katherin Manley and Julia Davies added two goals apiece for North Brunswick.

South Brunswick will play second-seeded Monroe in the finals scheduled for Friday in East Brunswick.
