HAPPY 153RD BIRTHDAY CANADA EH!

We are certainly blessed to live in this amazing and beautiful Country, weather has been picture perfect.

As you have probably already guessed, it is going to be awhile before activities in The Town of South Bruce Peninsula start up again. We have been in contact with a town representative, and there are no present plans or schedules in regard to the Sauble Beach Community Centre reopening anytime soon, so patience will have to be a virtue!

Many of our members have celebrated birthdays and anniversaries in the last fews months and we would like to wish each and everyone one of you from the Sandpipers, good wishes, better late than sorry!

The Sauble Beach Chamber of Commerce is hosting a drive-in concert on July1st featuring Juno award winning Susan Aglukark. The event will be at the iconic Sauble Beach sign, parking commences at 7 pm and the concert starts at 8 pm.

The show will also be broadcast on FM 98 The Beach and AM 560 CFOS. What a great opportunity to celebrate Canada Day and still socially distance and be safe. A big thank you to the SBCC for arranging this event and to the Sauble Family Health Team and the Sauble Beach and District Lions Club for their assistance in keeping the area as Covid-19 free as possible. Don't miss the concert!

Masks are still available so if anyone wishes a mask(s), please call Marilyn at 519-422-1640.

The Sandpipers have 2 vacant positions on the executive, first: is the position for someone to oversee the Sandpiper website and second: is the position of treasurer, if you have any interest please call Judy at 519-422-1073 or email:judynafziger4@gmail.com.

These are challenging times and sometimes you may not see light at the end of the tunnel. We will persevere and get through this dasdardly virus, it is an invisible enemy and we are literally in the fight of our lives, but WE WILL WIN!

Remember a smile is just a frown upside down, so keep smiling!

Have added 3 pictures of Canada Day flags and flowers( may come later)

Please, stay safe and healthy, most of all be kind to each other
