Do you want to meet some nice people and have fun as well? Join us for a game of Contract Bridge at the Sauble Community Centre on Mondays and Wednesdays at 12:30pm.
The exceptions are the second Monday of April, June, and September. When we will start at 1:00 pm after the Sandpipers General Meeting.
Join our club and come to the 11:30 General Meeting all members are welcome. Great food, good conversation and interesting speakers.
We play 3 tables on this day not the usual 4. You don't need to bring a partner as we try to accommodate everyone, but occasionally have a "Charlie" table which we manage with everyone pitching in to bid so sometimes we get our exercise and play cards.
The cost to play is $2.00 and this includes coffee/tea and a cookie and prize money for the winners. They say that playing bridge helps keep the mind sharp. Some of our eldest players distinguish themselves each week with their outstanding card skills. So maybe there is something to that old saying!
