The Smile Ambassador

In 2015 the Sasebo chapter supported Guy Totaro, a Smile Ambassador, or “Niko Niko Taishi,” from the foundation of the same name.

The Smile Ambassadors reach out to children, teachers, care givers, families and communities with a dynamic, highly interactive and therapeutic support program. Guy is a clown who visits children in the Tohoku disaster area, who are at high risk for PTSD, and in hospitals, care facilities and orphanages throughout Japan, bringing them laughter, and a bit of joy. Our donation paid for Guy's transportation and supplies for his clown show.

支援しました。

ニコニコ大使は子供たち、先生、介護者、家族や地域に

ダイナミックでインタラクティブ、且つ健康維持に役に立つ

プログラムを提供します。ガイはピエロで、

東北の被災地にいたり、心的外傷後ストレス障害 (PTSD)のリスクが高かったり、日本中の病院や療養所や孤児院にいる子供たちを

訪ね、笑いや喜びをもたらします。私たちは、ガイの交通費と

ピエロショーに必要な物を買うお金を寄付しました。
