makes me wonder what if Ra is in lagna during 'brahma muhurta'

Dear ~any
It does not matter. What matters is your horoscope. The daily transit chart of a native is based on the *reverse motion* of the Sun from Lagna to 7th house and back to lagna. This is the visible reality …Sun rises in east with the lagna and then in midday it is in 10th house and at sunset in 7th house…see it retrogrades! So what we see is retrograde Sun.
Now take a horoscope and start with the lagna and move backwards to 12H, 11H…7H, 6H…Lagna and instead of doing this in 24 hours, do this in 12 hours i.e. move @ 1 sign per hour…horā shastra.
The lagna is the manner in which your brain works.
Now to know the effect of time, start with the Sun sign and move backwards (pratiloma) covering 1 sign every hour for 12hours. Then from about 6pm (sunset), start with the Moon sign and move forward (anuloma) at the rate of 1 sign per hour.
List the signs that rule the hours and then the 9th houses of these signs which rule the time quality. This should tell you what troubles you during meditation (1) in general based on natal chart and (2) particular day based on transits
This is based on the Sun-Moon-Rāhu chakra

Dear Chandan, Swee behn,
Thanks. Here is an example of Swee Chan
April 3, 1955; 9:38:00 am; 110 E 20' 00", 1 N 33' 00" Kuching, Malaysia
Lagna: Taurus, Sun: Pisces, Moon: Cancer
Swee behn has 12L Mars in Taurus. So let us see when this Taurus rules the time. Check Sun column and 9H…Taurus is in the 9H at exact Noon. This is the Vishnu Gāyatrī.
Thus the best time for her to make offerings or prayers is mid-day as the 12L does indicate offerings.
From Sūrya Lagna, check Gauna Pada = AS12 to see the moksha of the soul. This is in Gemini with Jupiter+Ketu, having parivartana with Pisces Sun+Me. So take Pisces. Pisces is strong at 2PM-3PM. What can this tell us?
I have given some hints …Sun is the soul of all creatures, so check the Sun column first.
With Best Wishes
Sanjay Rath
