The church buildings are clearly visible on the left on entering Mearns Road.
Busby Road forms part of the A727 which runs from Paisley to East Kilbride. Motorists coming from Eaglesham or Waterfoot along the B767 (Eaglesham Road), turn left into Busby Road at Sheddens Roundabout , and left into Mearns Road (signposted for Greenbank Gardens). Motorists from Thorntonhall turn left into the A727 between East Kilbride and Busby, and from Carmunnock turn right from the B759, in Busby. At Sheddens Roundabout the A727 veers to the right, becoming Busby Road.
Motorists from Netherlee, Muirend, Cathcart, and adjoining areas approach Clarkston Toll via the B767 (Clarkston Road), turning left into Busby Road and right into Mearns Road. Motorists from Giffnock and beyond reach Clarkston Toll along the A727 (Eastwoodmains Road).
Parking in Mearns Road is very limited during the week, but more freely available on Sundays. Parking is available within a few minutes' walk of the church in Seres Road and in the streets off Benview Road. Parking is now restricted in Aidan's Brae. There is a free carpark at Clarkston Library, off Clarkston Road, G76 8NE. There is also a "pay and display" carpark above the shops on the east (railway) side of Busby Road, G76 7BG; charges are 60p for up to two hours.
