SHINE THROUGH THE RAIN FOUNDATION
Rainy Day Fund – Shine Through The Rain Foundation
Shine Through the Rain Foundation, which can provide some funding to individuals that are actively in treatment for a life-threatening illness (cancer, kidney dialysis, etc).
Application to be completed by hospital social worker. Combined household income threshold is under $60,000/year. Reimbursement is not guaranteed as funds are limited but requests can be submitted monthly to yearly maximum amount of $1500. Please note that this program is Canada-wide so application requests should be submitted as soon as possible prior to the 15th of every month before funds are depleted for that month. Application must include original receipts; please advise patients of this.

Camp Scholarships (up to $500 per child/year): Allows families with a diagnosed family member to send their children to a camp, program or tutor of their choice when they would otherwise struggle to afford such activities. Visit:
