The Poverty Task Force
The Poverty Task Force is introducing a County specific Community Hot Weather Response Plan for Individuals Experiencing Homelessness this year.
This plan is for the 2023 hot weather season. It is intended to support individuals experiencing homelessness to access and get to cool-down locations and emergency shelters in periods of cold weather. Please note, the plan is not triggered by a specific temperature. Partners and community members are encouraged to use their judgement about the temperature and weather conditions, as well as the safety and wellbeing of individuals.
