MONTHLY SESSIONS WITH KIDZSHINE

At Kidzshine, they have a theme every month such as "Discipline", "Self-esteem", "Teamwork & Leadership".

With these themes in mind, we try to incorporate them into the activities that are carried out during the monthly sessions with the kids so that they can both have fun and at the same time learn the importance of these themes.

On the months with special occasions such as Racial Harmony Day, we would use it as the theme instead. This is to teach the kids the importance of living together with different races and accepting the differences. We also let them try out the food of different races.

Each session is usually split into 2 segments. The first segment would be to teach them about the theme itself. For example, if it is regarding discipline, we would let them know the importance of having discipline in everything that they do. After teaching them, we will have a mini quiz session to see if they understand what was taught to them. The second segment involves playing games that are related to discipline. At the end of the session, we will conclude it with the main points and what they have learnt.
