It might sound boring but there's lots apparently...
Apparently, some say this is a more accurate representation of the world as it shows actual landmass accurately, although is pretty useless for navigation.
Another is this,
Look how much bigger Africa looks. With regards to a pan- continental road trip can you see a longer one than you might have imagined on the map of your schoolhood days. As long as you skip the Russian bit then... Africa is huge, it seems.
The 'dull as' arguments that cartographers have over this kind of stuff can be read on wikipedia if you're interested. Anyway my take is what I thought I was over halfway but it tuns out I have even further to go which is annoying.
One last thing is - think about it. The GM is still in the middle. How fair is that?
