Kate Bishop is the independent, tough-minded, and blunt daughter of a wealthy Manhattanite family. She is also an excellent archer, and this skill is what originally brought her to the attention of Hawkeye during the Battle of New York. Afterwards, she was recruited by SHIELD, and Clint Barton served as her supervising officer and mentor.
