Gertrude Goldstein

Executive Vice President, Public and Legal Affairs

Before joining red23 as its very first employee, Ms. Goldstein was the founding partner of the Gold Rose Talent Agency. As one of Hollywood's most successful agents and power brokers, she specialized in helping masked adventurers leverage their unique brand identities in order to land lucrative endorsement and media deals.

Ms. Goldstein understands all too well the risks and pitfalls that can befall a costumed hero whose secret identity goes public; during the Second World War she was the masked teen chanteuse Red Rose, part of a crime-fighting duo with the magician Tuxedo Tommy. However, the Red Scare paranoia of the 1950s cost her both her heroic career and her marriage when she and Tommy were forced to reveal their identities before the House Un-American Activities Committee. Vowing to fight McCarthyism and the Hollywood Blacklist, she went on to start the Gold Rose Agency.

Ms. Goldstein continues to fight the good fight today— as chief legal counsel, contract negotiator, and spokesperson for red23, Ltd.
