Neural voices might not be trained on all words or abbreviations, so you can customize the pronunciation for words that you use frequently.
Pied is a voice manager for Piper-tts. The version released in November, 2024 includes a wider selection of voice models and allows you to set a specific voice variant for the system voice. If you press the triangular play button, you can compare how voices with the same name differ.
