In response to Tara’s comment on my first post:
Just because someone is a paid representative for a pharma company doesn’t mean that person is presenting the most solid or helpful information on ADHD. Sometimes they are just in the public eye.
In fact, with all the scare stories and witch-hunts regarding psychiatry medications, I wouldn’t be surprised if the companies that make ADHD meds intentionally choose spokespeople who do NOT endorse medications.
Yes, that only confuses the issue further. But in a country where many people don’t “believe” in evolution, how do we begin to educate about science-based brain issues. It’s a challenge.
