Subject: [adhd-india] Good luck and good bye
Hi folks,
It’s really too bad that this group isn’t moderated. For one thing, when new members’ posts are moderated, it keeps out the Internet Trolls — the people who “self-medicate” with conflict and opposition online. These are the people who destroy what would be positive exchanges as if it was their reason to live. Successful group moderators do not tolerate this destruction.
With moderated groups, very useful information and support is exchanged.
If there’s not such a group for the ADHD community in India, I hope someone starts one. There exists a wealth of solid, helpful information about ADHD, information that can truly transform people’s lives. In the U.S. the education campaign started with parents of children with ADHD, who demanded enlightened, evidence-based strategies for their children. Now awareness has grown to the point where only the fringe element doubts the science. I wish the same for India.
I’ll be leaving the list now.
Good luck to you all.
Gina Pera
