PATIENT STATUS

• Arrived

• Verified (by Tech) = You can now dictate

• Dictated = Drafted by R1 / Dictated by Attending

• Transcribed = Preliminary report

• Completed = Final report

WHEN WAS A STUDY VERIFIED?

• The time that appears in PACS is the time that the patient arrives in the department,

• To check when verified/QC:

  • Right-click study, select "View Audit Trail"

  • "Time marked QC" is the time study was verified

UV PACS EPIC INTEGRATION

1. Must be logged in to EPIC on PACS computer

2. Open study

3. Right click > Extend applications > EPIC Integration
