Self-Consciousness

Attaining Self-Consciousness or Self-Knowledge is only possible by no other than Human body, hence we should be earnestly seeking for that. We as humanistic animal, only see the external materialistic sensual body. But we don't understand or don't feel the need to understand, who is driving us each and every moment being inside our body mechanic. As He resides in every atom in this universe, likewise he resides also in this body mechanic. His manifested presence can only be perceived in this body by some special and specific technique referred as 'Sadhana'. That is known as Self-Consciousness. No other animal body other than Human body has the right to achieve Self-Consciousness. Again, most of the people do not bother to feel the instinct to attain the knowledge. As because they are so much intoxicated to enjoy the materialistic world, 'Bhoga', they are not able to come out of their body-consciousness.

If we think patiently, we will be able to understand that our looks, youth, strength to enjoy the material, etc. all will be lost by the ultimate impact of time, referred as 'Kala'. But our idiotic mind will never be able to leave the addiction to enjoy the materials. That's why even when we reach our old age we are not satisfied and our mental peace seems far fetched. That is why saints has advised us to distrust what is false, destructible and root of all problem. Other than the actual need, mind must not get unchained and flown away by the stream of enjoyment of material (Bhoga). If we notice we will find that all these material satisfaction and happiness in our whole life is for a very short time, where as our sadness and dissatisfaction weighted much more. Hence it's very important to attentively learn self-restraint. If we can be composed enough to patiently bear the gust of the infinite material enjoyment we will get enough strength in body and mind, which will be a booster to eradicate the hurdles for being a real human. Slowly the wish to attain self-consciousness will emerge and when it gets strong then only He will show us the path. After constantly proceeding with His shown path our human birth will be blessed by self knowledge, because Self-Consciousness can only be attained by human body.
