Pranayam of 'VootSuddhi' (Purification of body). By the advice of 'SadGuru', restless external movement of 'Prana' (breathing) with some special technique is guided inward and directed through the path of 'SathaChakra' (Six Chakras) which are present in the middle of the spine. On advice of Guru, the other components of Kriya also must be practiced with Pranayam. God said in Gita on Pranayam:
"Apane Juhoti Pranam Pranehopanong Tathapare"
Om kar Kriya or Om kar Pranayam. The main prop of this Pranayam is 'Vasudev Mantra' (Om Namo Bhagabate Vasudebayo). Through this mantra a 'Sadhak' realizes the meeting of 'BramhanPranab' (The celestial sound) all over. If this Kriya is perfectly practiced abiding by the rules as Guru prescribe, 'Om' sound can be heard. In this Kriya, 'Japa' (Chanting with count) happens in mind and soul, by which a Sadhak make 'Pranam' (salute) to himself. Sadhak realizes that he self is 'Vasudev'.
"Vasudeb Sarbamiti Sa Mahatma Sudurlabh"
'Thokor' or pecking / poking by ceasing breath - 'Thokor Kriya' or 'Thokor Pranayam'. It's a special kriya where a single 'Totto' (Ethos) is touched again and again. This Kriya has to be realized in area of heart (Anahata Chakra). This Kriya is also called 'Samudra Manthan Kriya' (Ocean Churning Kriya - The details of Samudra Manthan can be found in Hindu mythology where God and Demons churned Ocean to get immortal nectar - It's only a symbolic story where the actual fact remains in Kriya) by Yogis. By this Kriya it tends to pierce gland of heart, 'HridoyGranthi'.
"Vidyate HridoyGranthischidyante sarba Songsaya"
Pranayam of 'Dhyan' (Meditation). In this Pranayam, with ascension and descent of mind, state of 'Kumbhak' (breathlessness) is also present. By this Kriya manifestation of 'SunnyoTotto' (A component where there is nothing), full presence of 'Sky' can be felt. All these Kriyas are effortless, beautiful and Blissful. That's why in Gita it's said "Sahajong Karma Kounteo". There are some advice of special technique for 'Sthir Prana' (Absolute stillness of soul or air) at ethos of 'Sunya Marg' (A space where there is empty or nothing) at bodily sky to reach absolute stillness in the sky or 'Sunyo Totto'. This kriya is called Kriya of 'Sthir Vayu' (Absolute still Air). Fifth, Sixth, Seventh, etc. Kriyas are all known as Kriya of 'Sthir Vayu'. Seventh Kriya is also called Kriya of 'Sahasrar'.
For the same reason 'Yoga Karma' is called "Yogkarma Sukaushalam". 'Su' - beautiful and 'Kaushal' - Technique. It's true that all 'Sadhaka' at advanced stage have realized these state.
When a Sadhaka proceed abiding by the advice of Guru, the mind slowly starts becoming calm and quiet, and later the calmness becomes more and more deeper to be absolute empty. To achieve this absolute stillness, more number of 'Antarmukhi' Pranayam, 'Om kar Kriya', 'Thokar Kriya', Pranayam of 'Dhyan', etc. is needed. By practicing these Kriyas abiding by the advice of Guru, a Sadhak becomes eligible to remain in 'Agna Chakra' with absolute stillness and then win over breathing 'Swas Joy', where one can stay effortlessly in absolute stillness of air without breathing in and out. In Gita it's called 'Nasabhantochari'. By this way, one with dispersed and restless mind slowly converge to a single aim to get immense peace of mind. For a normal person all these discussion might seems to be only words, a Sadhaka who practice Kriya realizes all of these deep inside.
After all these discussion it can be noted:
