Kriya Yoga is ancient Yoga brought down by Sri Sri Lahiri Mahasaya from Mahavatar Babaji Maharaj. Kriya Yoga is not like chanting of mantras, singing songs in the name of God, nor concentrating on prayers or japas or mere simple meditation. It is completely a different way / technique by which one can permanently establish himself in the inner evenness of soul towards unification with the Divine Spirit. One must also understand that the path of spirituality is very slippery and full of challenges. There are some specific stages that a disciple has to slowly pass through as he gradually moves forward. Until and unless he reaches that stage, he is not allowed to expose to the higher degree of Kriya Sopan. One must, therefore, know that stepping towards higher degree of Kriya Yoga in true path takes long time. So, those who are sincere and honest spiritual seekers must first of all identify and choose a real Sadguru who can guide themselves to the true path of Kriya Yoga.
Yogacharya Sri Sri Adyanath Roy, whom many people know as one of the greatest Yogi ever. Though he has left his body long back, many people who wanted to travel in the true path of Kriya were being initiated (Diksha) at his own room where he used to do his Sadhana, by his deciple cum youngest son Sri Sri Prodip Kumar Roy, till year 2017.
On 12th Feb, 2018 at 3:55 PM IST, Sri Sri Prodip Kumar Roy left his body devastating all of us!!
