The picture above shows Stand and Simister Wards. this is now the site of Edenfields main car park. The bridge on the left in the distance is now Security gate 3.

The picture above and below are showing the removal of one of the hospital Boilers. The Hospital had four Boilers servicing the main part.

The building above is the E block. This was the medium secure of the day.

This is the T block at the Annex. The new Edenfield female and porters yard are built around this area.

Department and the Mortuary. The Mortuary is roughly situated where Costa Coffee is now.

This is a view of The A-Block. Today it is Tesco main store. Note the word Enquires. Not just me with bad spelling and Crammer.

Above is the entrance to the Kitchen yard at the Annex. All the buildings to the left were saved and became Edenfield offices

and Reception. The buildings on the right including the bridge were demolished and became the main car park for the Edenfield

Center. The Bridge ahead is now Gate 3.
