PRESTWICH HOSPITAL "ASYLUM"
This site is a simple recent history of the psychiatric hospital "Prestwich Hospital". This was once known has Prestwich lunatic asylum. I won,t go into the History too far simply because I have been asked time and again from people past and present to put my old video memories on a simple click and play website. I can always add explanations of where the videos represent on today's hospital landscape, but I think that most people who visit this site will probably have worked there. However, it's my first attempt at this and I shall improve it as I get results from feedback.

Below is a picture of the main part of the hospital approximately between 1972-1974
most of the buildings have now gone and Tesco supermarket now resides. The Hospital today
consists of specialist wards rather than long term needs.
