Scattered Light Test (Bright Star)

Data Taking:

    1. Can be performed under non-photometric conditions.

    2. Choose a bright star (4-5 mag), preferably at relatively low airmass (X < 1.5).

    3. Observe the bright star in the middle and on the edges and corners of each CCD, exposing long enough to measure scattered light (~30 sec?).

  1. Perform in all 5 filters (u, g, r, i, z).

Data Analysis:

    1. Generally the data analysis is not the responsibility of the observer.

    2. Look at images for signs of ghosts, glints, or other forms of scattered light.
