Scattered Light Test (Bright Star)
Data Taking:
Can be performed under non-photometric conditions.
Choose a bright star (4-5 mag), preferably at relatively low airmass (X < 1.5).
Observe the bright star in the middle and on the edges and corners of each CCD, exposing long enough to measure scattered light (~30 sec?).
Perform in all 5 filters (u, g, r, i, z).
Data Analysis:
Generally the data analysis is not the responsibility of the observer.
Look at images for signs of ghosts, glints, or other forms of scattered light.
