Homework: 25% of semester grade

Notes and in-class work: 15%

Tests and Quizzes: 45%

Final Exam: 15%

You will notice that each grade item belongs to one of these categories. The point values I've chosen for each item are proportional to these weights, so students have a better sense of the value of each item in their grade.
