The Excel spreadsheet in the attachments below which uses a Macluarin series formula to estimate the hyperbolic cosine function. It can be modified to speed up your homework on other Maclaurin problems.
The part which will need to be modified is the "term result" column. Start by modifying the formula contained in cell B9 to match the summation formula for the Maclaurin series you want to estimate. Then trace down from cell B9 to cell B38, and choose the "Edit-Fill-Down" function. It will copy your formula into those cells, modifying it to reflect the associated column A.
If you don't have Excel, you can download Open Office for free. Open Office includes a spreadsheet program which functions like Excel. Look under the "Online Graphing" section of my website for a link.
