Masons will be on site next Monday, July 1, 2013, to begin this season's portion of the re-pointing and masonry repairs on the fronts of the buildings. Scaffolding will be erected to the right of the front door at 6 Beaufort Road at a section that spans both 6 & 10 Beaufort Road. Work will proceed up Beaufort Road and include all of buildings 10 and 16. Once the six sections on Beaufort Road are complete the scaffolding will be moved to Lakeville Road at a section that spans both 7 & 11 Lakeville Road.
The masonry company that has done all of the previous masonry repairs is returning and they have proven to be a competent and courteous crew. Hours of operation are between 7:00am and 5:00pm and all work is weather dependent. Residents at every floor should plan for the possibility of workers being directly outside their windows. All residents are advised to keep their windows closed during the work day to prevent dust from migrating into the units.
