Director
Oversee all aspects of running the pool, including fielding complaints and managing resolution of maintenance issues.
This job often involves a lot of phone/e-mail work as well as frequent face-time at the pool to stay tuned into the daily workings of the pool.
Work with the rest of the pool committee, contracted workers, and Pinewood Inc to ensure the continued operation of the pool within the constraints of the budget.
Registration
Help write pool rules and registration form (with fees)
Be a focal point to collect completed pool registration forms.
Check that forms are filled in correctly, the right fee is included, a job is selected, and it's signed.
Get all pool forms to Expense Treasurer for recording and to have checks deposited. This can be done in batches.
Provide a key to new members. Charge for replacement keys and forward money to Income Treasurer.
Field questions about the pool. Delegate to director if unsure.
Attend Annual Meeting to assist with pool registration hour.
Maintenance Coordinator
Be the first point of contact for the Director when repairs or general operations of the pool need to be addressed
This job requires direct involvement with pool repairs, sometimes on short notice.
Delegate excess work to a support crew of volunteers and/or coordinate hiring someone when necessary, while being mindful of budget limitations.

Opening Coordinator (updated 5/21/2011)
--Adam Peterson of Techtron Environmental Inc. is hired to empty and power wash the pool. Pool director sets up the contact and time so all things can be coordinated.
Coordinate workers to clean the pool two weeks prior to first swim day which is targeted for the Saturday of Memorial Day.
Check with Expense Treasurer to ensure that utilities are turned on. This includes gas, phone, and electric.
Ensure that water is turned on prior to project day. Town needs to reconnect meter.
Perform and/or coordinate other opening tasks: Scrubbing ring off inside of pool w/ comet, uncovering furniture, wash off chairs, reinstalling pool lights w/ one screw each, removing drain plugs and storing them in bucket, screwing in jets, cleaning algae from skimmers, clean bathrooms and reattach toilet hoses and turn on water lines to bathrooms, flush toilets to make sure they work and don't constantly run, clean bathrooms with bleach cleaner from top to bottom - hose out and squeegee the floor before putting the mats back in- we don't want the water sitting on the painted floors, use leaf blowers to clean off deck (faster than brooms), weed around pool and block walls.
Unless other work needs to be done on the drained pool, start filling it w/ 2 hoses. Coordinate with director and maintenance coordinator.
Once pool is refilled, maintenance coordinator will check pumps and furnace functionality and coordinate with chemical supervisor to start balancing the pool chemicals.
No trash pickup, so remove any trash.
Submit any expenses to Expense Treasurer for payment
Keep "Closed for the Season" sign up.
Closing Coordinator
Wrap up furniture for winter.
Winterize bathroom and furnace(?).
Check with Expense Treasurer to have utilities terminated once work is complete: gas, phone, electric.
Coordinate turning off the water and having Town remove the meter.
Leave pump house and bathrooms clean and closed/locked.
Drain pool below return level. Disconnect lights, blow out lines and plug them.
Hang sign to indicate that pool is closed for the season.
No trash pickup, so remove any trash.
Submit expenses to Expense Treasurer for payment
