These stories, for varying reasons, are currently only available on my Livejournal account. Sometimes it's because I'm just experimenting, and I will so indicate. Others I consider good enough for wider exposure on Fanfiction.net, but leave them only on Livejournal because I feel there just wouldn't be much interest elsewhere. And then still others, well, me being a hurt/comfort writer, some of these pieces are quite shameless hurt/comfort! And while I used to post almost everything at Fanfiction.net, I have since decided that a better policy is to leave most of the shameless hurt/comfort out of the main areas of exposure.
Multi-Part Stories
Candles and the Snow A study of Hamilton and Mignon's friendship through the years. These are connected vignettes, in no particular order.
Considered part of the main timeline: Overall, yes.
Lost Scenes from The Broken Ties Exactly what it sounds like. Scenes that, for various reasons, were either deliberately left out of The Case of the Broken Ties or weren't even conceived until later. Again, connected vignettes in no real order, although I have a version made up on my computer that puts the pieces in their proper order. I will list the correct order on its page here. I have no plans to put this on FF.net, but I consider it very well-written.
Considered part of the main timeline: Yes.
Lux Aeterna Both experimental and possibly the building block of a future Fanfiction.net venture, this details what happens when Florence gets hold of and uses the Forbidden Box, which is something the characters have been dreading and trying to prevent since The Broken Ties. I'm partially considering leaving it as Livejournal only, and in its form of connected vignettes, because above all it's an ensemble piece, and with the vignettes it's much easier to spotlight assorted characters than it would be otherwise. Also, I'm unsure if it's too fantastical for the FF.net Perry audience.
Considered part of the main timeline: Probably, but may never be mentioned in said main timeline.
Dead on Arrival This comprises both an earlier stand-alone piece called All of My Memories and a ten-part series called Do the Words I Say Ever Make It Through? It's highly experimental, highly supernatural, and highly shameless hurt/comfort and angst. Andy is the victim, but eventually there is a happy ending. I doubt I'll ever put this on FF.net.
Considered part of the main timeline: No.
Oneshot Stories
While looking through the list, I realized that pretty much all of my oneshot Livejournal stories are both experimental and shameless hurt/comfort. Only one or two of these do I ever plan to put on FF.net. One I already have.
Turnabout Dark Irony A very short piece, almost a drabble. Deathfic, but not who you might expect.
Considered part of the main timeline: No.
Tomorrow Always Comes Written for Livejournal, but finally put on FF.net. Missing scenes from season 9's The Carefree Coronary, in which Paul is poisoned by the bad guys. The link goes to the Livejournal copy.
Considered part of the main timeline: Yes.
Lay Your Weary Head to Rest Very much shameless hurt/comfort and angst, and a Della and Hamilton friendship exploration. Was meant to be a Hamilton deathfic, but I couldn't bear to do it. Which is usually what happens whenever I try to write a deathfic.
Considered part of the main timeline: Maybe.
Where Much is Given, Much is Required Experimental exercise in writing for Hamilton's unseen secretary Leon. Deathfic.
Considered part of the main timeline: Maybe.
A Glimpse Beyond the Illusion Continuing from the above piece, a revival fic. More experimental Leon writing, and interaction with Hamilton.
Considered part of the main timeline: Maybe.
Shadows and Demons Currently in the process of being expanded for FF.net. Hamilton is poisoned by an enemy and grows delusional and delirious. Hurt/comfort, but also an in-depth character study, making it meatier and more the type of thing I would put on FF.net.
Considered part of the main timeline: Maybe.
How to Start a War Experimental interaction between Hamilton and Sampson. Hurt/comfort and implied death, when Sampson saves Hamilton from a knife-thrower and takes it himself.
Considered part of the main timeline: No.
To Prove Yourself Continuing from the above piece, experimental interaction between Sampson and Chamberlin. Reveals that there was no death.
Considered part of the main timeline: No.
All of My Memories The forerunner of the Do the Words I Say Ever Make It Through? series (see Dead on Arrival). Better written than some of these, but still shameless hurt/comfort and death. (Andy is killed.) Also explores Tragg and Andy's past.
Considered part of the main timeline: No.
The next two links go to the same post. Scroll past the Bonanza-related chapter to find them both. Or heck, read the Bonanza-related chapter! I'd love if you do. It's about another of Wesley Lau's wonderful characters. And one of Richard Anderson's too (although not his Bonanza character).
October Experimenting with Amory and Edith Fallon. Originally considered as something to happen in The Malevolent Mugging, but that was changed when the story was finally completed. Amory believes Edith dead, and it's only the crowning shock in a series of horrible things that have been happening to them. Amory can't take it and has slipped into a catatonic state.
Considered part of the main timeline: No; it was reworked into something similar, but different.
Another Chance Also possibly part of a bigger story someday, this concerns an idea where Andy and Jimmy are prisoners. And they seem to be in the Twilight House, the setting for The Case of the Man-Eating House. Hence, if this story happens, it will be a sequel to that.
Considered part of the main timeline: Probably, yes.
State of Penance Something I never thought I'd write, it involves Tobin Wade and Marian Stuart from The Decadent Dean. Tobin Wade is one of the biggest slimeballs in the entire series, but he seems to have really been friends with the Stuarts until he let his greed and desperation get the best of him. He really looks like he's genuinely enjoying Marian's excitement at the beginning of the episode. And I couldn't help wondering, would he ever regret the evil he brought upon them all?
Considered part of the main timeline: No; replaced by The Nefarious Necklace in the main timeline.
To Eliminate the Impossible Originally written for Livejournal, but later posted on FF.net. Involves Gene Torg and Pearl Chute from The Bogus Books. Pearl is called to the hospital late at night to identify a body.
Considered part of the main timeline: Yes.
