- Has an uncle who is also a sergeant in the police department; canonically, this is the Sergeant Brice played by Chuck Webster in The Fancy Figures and The Glittering Goldfish.

Personality

Quiet and unassuming, Sergeant Brice is quite content to let his Lieutenants take the lead while he follows, but he is willing to take charge if necessary. When he does speak up, he is kind and friendly, and would likely give Perry and company a bit more leeway on information if it were up to him. He and Della are close enough friends to share a gentle tease now and then.

He has served as partner to every one of the main Lieutenants: Tragg, Andy, and Steve, and is currently Steve's partner, but he still works with Tragg and Andy as well.
