Portrayed by: Raymond Burr, all seasons
Age: Unknown
Single or Married: Single; has canonically called himself a bachelor
Alignment: Good
Occupation: Criminal attorney
Known Allies: All the main good guys throughout the series at one time or another. Also, many oneshot friends, too many to count.
Known Enemies: All the criminals he has uncovered. Also, most likely many family members and friends of such.
Personality
Perry is much the same as he is throughout the series, although he has tried to curb the number of times and ways he bends the law. Still, he is willing to do it if he feels he has to for his clients' sake. He is a chronic workaholic, which Della has long ago accepted.
He is open-minded and feels that it would be unwise to completely reject the possibility that the supernatural exists. That said, he does try to find logical explanations before turning to the supernatural.
He is always willing to do everything he can for a friend; as he tells Della in The Weary Watchdog: "How far is forever?"
Della and Paul are still his closest friends, but he is on friendly terms with the other cast members as well.
He and Hamilton have come a long way since their harsh and sometimes childish opposition during the season 1 days. They are close friends now, as the series depicted over nine seasons. They still don't always agree, but they have a much greater and healthier respect for each other than they once did.
Perry is friendly with all of the main police he associates with, albeit Lieutenant Drumm and Sergeant Brice are the friendliest of all. Tragg is also fairly friendly, but Andy is still very often aloof except on matters of business.
