This document has been developed to respond to the IMTG Agenda item 2b (17/11/10).
The document presents a collation of the knowledge and experience of staff in the school that are regularly engaging with information technology. Information was gathered between 17/11/10 and 11/02/11.
A document was created in ‘Google documents’ so it could remain live for collaborative contributions, each contributor had the opportunity to read and consider the comments of colleagues with the opportunity to expand comments for each entry.

The information is presented as a table to identify where data is stored, the benefit or risks for this particular storage area/medium and hints and tips for using this data storage location/medium. It is also important to consider who needs to access each item of data (asset), where the person is based/ located, and how frequently they require access to the data/ storage area/ medium.
Finally a list of links to essential information and resources is included at the end of the document.
