Explanation Paragraph:

For Internet Fundamentals and Design class, one of our assignments was to do 16 tweets over the course of the semester. These tweets were intended to be a way for us to communicate about the content of our learning in class, much of which was about the nature of digital technologies and their impact on society. We would tweet articles we found on these subjects, as well as tweeting to offer comments on discussions and presentations that occurred during class time, even dialoguing with each other as classmates in continuing the discussion virtually. Twitter as a social media tool has an impact on how we connect with information and each other, especially as libraries use it to connect with their patrons. Engaging with this social media tool, I grew in my understanding of the impact of social media on society.
