On this web page I have attached a few of my assignments for anyone who is viewing thispage to look over, but one particular assignment I am going to display on this page is my Help Desk Assignment as a main attraction.
Help Desk Software
Comparisons Fact Findings Sheet:
This report focuses on comparing two separate types of Help Desk Software so that the reader of this report may understand and take an account to the array of different types of help desk software and find out and few different things about them:
1. The difference in quality
2. How some help desk software and the type you have to pay for differ in the product you get.
One name brand of help desk software I discovered is called h2 desk, which is affiliated with Innovative Cyber Solutions based in Miami, Florida and the other help desk software I discovered is called Live Help Now, which is a standalone company in itself based out of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. What makes these two help desk software similar in their product is they each give you.
1. 30 Day Trial period, no obligation
2. They do offer Free Live Support, possibly for set up and trouble shooting
3. Unlimited Ticketing for a flat price in various package deals
4. Both have a standard ticket set up and tools for monitoring tickets and follow ups
5. Both have packages that are at a reasonable price or for free which ever you need for your business.
There are quite a few differences out of both help desk software providers and they both offer an array of difference services at different price ranges.
h2 desk is/offers:
1. A wide range of packages in prices from $9.99 to $69.99 ranging from a solo package for a sole proprietor, to a large package deal where you get unlimited licensing per month at $69.99.
2. They also offer Server Hosting in price ranging from solo with no support for free to what’s called the developer package for unlimited staffing at a one- time fee of $1499.00.
3. 99% open source
Live help is/offers:
1. Live chat support/interaction with clients/customers
2. Monitors customer transaction(s) from start to finish (past, present and feature)
3. Enables you to make quick transactions in both responses and follow ups
4. Price of service can vary from what product you want or how much of the service you use depending on what package you sign up for. The price range can be $9.00 per use on just the single services such as the chat, the support and the ticket distribution per usage, but if you go with a package deal it can go up to $99.00 per month for the knowledgebase package.
In my personal opinion both types of help desk providers are good, but it all depends on what you as an individual or as a business representative is looking out of a help desk package and what risks you are willing to take because one thing to think about is what your satisfaction level would be with the help desk software and if there is a refund should you not be happy with the service you receive, this is one thing to consider if choosing to use h2 desk software, it offers no refund if you don’t want to product due to full coding subscription into your system, once it is there they consider you to be using it regardless, that is why they offer the 30 day free trial, to see if you like it, they offer a free version for all of their products to try out; just as all the other help desk software providers, so these are the things to consider when taking on total cost of ownership in expensive software like these.
