Paropsis porosa

This species is described as widespread from Tasmania to Queensland. The elytra are evenly punctured. The elytra are non-verrucose (non-warty) making them distinct from P. atomaria and the aegrota group. The back of the head, behind the line of the eyes, is black. .Also seen at Kinglake, Eildon, Taggerty and Gisborne.

The underside is black but partially yellow in the shape of an inverted 'Y'.
