Paropsis lownei

Paropsis lownei Mt Samaria, Victoria Photo by Martin Lagerwey

Paropsis lownei is very similar to paropsis variolosa. They are considered to be difficult to separate visually and might therefore be confused.

This species is considered to be a montane species whereas the latter is more common on lowlands and it is therefore I have supposed its designation.

This species is widespread from Melbourne to Queensland and West to Perth.
