Paropsis minor

Paropsis minor is a small beetle with unmistakable red, white and black striped transverse bands.

They feed on tea tree. They occur in NSW and Queensland. This beetle is anomalous, not fitting easily into the Paropsis group. The pronotum is crenulate, seen best in the last image. These are the only records from Victoria that I know of.
