The pack meeting unites all dens to recognize achievements, share event info, and enrich the Cub Scouting experience. It helps Cubs see their den as part of a larger group. Pack meetings are well-planned and held several times a year, typically monthly or less often.

The Den Meeting is key to Cub Scouting, where Scouts build friendships, learn, and work towards their badge of rank. Serving as a Den Leader offers the chance to make a lasting, positive impact on your child and others.

Complete Youth Protection Training (YPT): Go to My.Scouting.org, create an account, and take YPT. After completion, print the certificate to submit with your volunteer application. Your training will be updated in the system with your member ID.
Complete an Adult Application: Obtain an application from the Cubmaster or download it here: Adult Application. Fill it out, including the “Disclosure/Authorization Form,” background questions, and references.
Submit Application and YPT Certificate: Turn in your completed application and YPT certificate to the Pack 53 Cubmaster or Committee Chair.
Complete Leader Position-Specific Training (Online): Take the online Cub Scout Leader Position-Specific Training courses to gain essential knowledge and skills. Download the How-To Guide for Accessing Online.
