Jobs

The mental process involved with securing employment can be very depressing. One way to overcome the fears associated with assured rejection is to begin the career cultivation process before you actually need to secure employment. Start researching and locating career opportunities/employment websites of international organization, companies, nonprofit organizations, governmental (local, state, federal, international, political, executive branch, legislative, judicial) universities, clubs, organizations, embassies, ambassadors and other institutions and organizations. Read the job descriptions of places you would like to work for someday. Study the requirements and skill sets stated in the posted job descriptions and write them down. Then, work on ways to figure out how to acquire those talents, abilities and skill-sets. Ask you professors questions regarding how to develop certain skill sets. Go to yahoo.com or google.com and search for insights about how to develop the specific skill sets that you will need for the types of jobs that you would like to eventually secure. Plan to spend about 1 year going through this mental process. Also think of all the international organizations and institutions that exist out there, who employ people.  Consider the multitude of companies and how most of them have similar employment websites.
