This means to take various aspects of space development and make it available for purchase to the general public - on a massive scale. The goods and services offered are adventure tourism, suborbital flights and space tourism, so far. Many spinoff benefits and industries which will be created as direct and indirect result of these endeavors. Paula Berinstein's book, Making Space Happen: Private Space Ventures and the Visionaries Behind Them (Plexus Publishing, Inc., 2000) sets forth various space entrepreneurs who are actively engaged in businesses related to commercial space tourism, space mining and space settlement.
