Here's what was officially approved by consensus at the Occupy Fredonia General Assembly, Oct 29, 2011

1. As the occupation date draws near, we need to shift our focus onto logistics (food, water, electricity, other needs). A Logistics Working Group was formed at the meeting. The group will be facilitated by Matt Furman.

2. There will be some sort of online signup form to fill up time slots for the physical occupation starting Nov. 5th. This will be set up and managed by Jonathan Woolson. (Jon, let me know when this is fully set up so I can link to it)

3. Donation boxes and other fundraising actions will be set up by Michelle Sudyn. Any donations received will be managed by the Logistics Working Group.

4. We will stand in solidarity with any local Occupy groups (Rochester, Erie, Buffalo, Jamestown, etc.) and any other Occupy group worldwide. We will work in cooperation with the local groups, possibly sharing supplies and ideas.

5. An Event Planning Working Group was formed at the meeting. The group will be facilitated by Michelle Sudyn, who is active in two campus groups and has experience with event planning and putting up posters.

6. We fully endorse the message of the Occupy Wall Street movement. We adopt the Declaration of the Occupation of New York City as our own. The Declaration can be found here: http://alturl.com/vbpck

Here's everything else that I took notes on:

-community outreach: informative posters on Barker Commons, charts of wealth distribution

-coordination between Occupy Buffalo and Occupy Fredonia

-interaction with authorities

-examine details on “No Camping” policy

-create online space to offer supplies

-ask local businesses to donate

-Occupy Buffalo has had no trouble in getting their needs met

-can we coordinate supplies with Occupy Buffalo?

-what do we do with excess donations?

-shortage of jobs (especially local jobs with livable wages)

-bales of hay!

-portable stove/hot pot

-garbage disposal (bags)

-sign making materials (hopefully rainproof)

-hats, gloves, towels

-water

-online connectivity (streaming)

-power strip

-projector
