GA at 6:20 pm started.
Announcements
Thursday night overnight is still open. Could someone get on the schedule?
If you haven’t looked at the physical schedule, please do so. Make sure to get on contact list.
Zombie night postponed until further notice. Maybe have it as a carryover event.
Marie Tomlinson knitting tonight, so if you want to learn how, join her.
Proposal to put the logbook, and the donation log into the lock box, hand off key and materials more explicit. Reminder to hand things off at shift change.
Concerned Citizens of Dunkirk 1:30-3 on Sundays. Ongoing weekly meeting to offer support to one another. Right now finding common connection and sharing stories. All are welcome.
We passed a proposal to hold an all-inclusive GA Monday at 6 pm, to discuss how the rest of the Occupation will unfold.
Potential ideas include
The rest of this week and the things that will go on beyond. Would be great for a nice event, community potluck. paint, clean up the gazebo. Perhaps break down on Saturday. Leave it better than we found it. March from campus to the Gazebo, Wednesday night 5:30, GA at 6 and Open Mic at GTR. Michelle and Cody will coordinate
Formal proposal to the Village as part of what Occupy would like to see happen.

Long-term plans for after the physical Occupation
Supporting the Buffalo Occupation, donate non-perishable food and supplies unless owners wouldl like them back.
Be aware of calls for help for other Occupys, perhaps create a list use the FB to arrange carpools
Figure out what to do with donations
Regular ongoing GAs
Form an informational group, coordinated to help get the information out for hot spots, stand in support of other Occupy events that might need some help/support.

Public Forum, structured conversation to really explore the depth of the issues Need to look for a venue, Opera House, Campus, The Grange,

Create a window sign or poster people unifying us and be a symbol for Occupy, scalable and portable (Occupy Together, We are the 99%)
Strength of our Occupy has been a focus on local business. Pledge to support local business for holidays. Every small business is part of the 99%. Could we get an online catlog/‘zine that posted items from local businesses? Perhaps print. Designed and formatted online, but invite people to “pay it forward” by printing some and making them available. Chautauqua Word? Try to do it as something for holidays but on-going. Try to have it be ongoing idea. Conversation moved to the idea of a local currency or a barter board to facilitate connections, skills.
Spend that money locally? Or, in support of other occupations or to continue this movement after the physical occupation is over. Put it in a credit union account.
Maybe a workshop on how to be more effective at activism and getting things done.
