We had a shorter meeting than usual. We mostly discussed what the logistics committee came up with at their meeting on Tuesday. Some of the main points:

-the gazebo is our "home base" for donations, sign making, etc.

-make sure any checks donated to the cause are made out to CASH

-There's a camera that broadcasts onto public access TV near Barker Commons. We should try to stay in view of it to remind the town of our presence.

-We will invite any local bands to play in the gazebo to attract attention. If you are in a band or know someone who is, let us know!

-The Green Tea Room is offering its restroom for Occupier use. There will be a key available for when the GTR is closed.

-8AM-9AM every morning (except Monday) is coffee hour. Free coffee courtesy of the Green Tea Room. (Thank you so much GTR for your support of our cause!)

Only one proposal was made and approved:

-A number of community occupiers are involved with unions. They are organizing a union rally that will join us, tentatively planned for Saturday, November 12. More information will be given as the rally is organized.

OTHER POTENTIAL ACTIVITIES:

-family-oriented games and activities

-documentaries played by projector

-48 Hour Global Assembly on Financial Alternatives: We may participate. For more information see: http://takethesquare.net/2011/10/31/48hours-global-assembly-on-financial-alternatives-call-to-all-the-squares-on-nov-5-6/

Finally, flyers approved for campus posting will be put up online as soon as they are approved. Please print some out and post them!
