P-1 CLASS consisted of twenty-five Consolidation types built by Rhode Island in 1895. Originally numbered 276-300 but changed to 200-224 in 1904.

P-2b Class consisted of ten Consolidation types built by Baldwin in 1893 for the New York & New England with Vauclain compound cylinders.

232 with simple cylinders is at Waterbury in December 1916

244 with simple cylinders at Readville May 1925.

P-3 Class consisted of sixteen Consolidation types built by Hinkley in 1881-1882 with Belpaire fireboxes for the New York and New England. Some had their cylinders reduced and were classified P-4 or P-5.

New York & New England 109 became P-3 251. At Columbia.

New York & New England 108 at the Hinkley Works in Boston in 1882. Became NYNH&H P-3 250.

1013 was renumbered 253.

252 had been 1011 and NY&NE 111. New Haven, CT

P-5 1012 became 260. Boston

P-5 999 became 259. Shown with a switching tender.

New York & New England 94 became NYNH&H 994 but was scrapped before the 1904 renumbering.

New York & New England 96 became 246. Towantic, CT.
