CLASS G-4 4-6-0

Class G-4

In 1904 Baldwin built twenty 4-6-0's with simple cylinders and two with compound cylinders. The next year twenty-five more of the simple engines were delivered and in 1907, five more for a total of fifty-two. The simple engines were designated G-4-a and the compounds G-4-b.

849 Baldwin 1907. The last five G-4-a's were built with arch window cabs.

859 was a 1904 Baldwin balanced compound which was rebuilt with simple cylinders by 1912.
