This series of animations cover the evolution of 3d component objects in a fixed field of 10 units by 10 units.
Each stage of the field represents a generation for each component within it.
Environment
The animations start with an initial field of cubes.
These represent the resources, environment and energy of the field.
These cubes evolve to fill the entire field.
Generations.
4 Parent Life Forms are introduced.
These are randomly exchanged for the resources, environment and energy of the field.
The Life Forms are then run through their 10 generations.
Each of the 10 generational stages for each Life Form can be tracked across the field.
Density ratios at each generation can be observed.
When the Life Forms have passed through 10 generations they can be examined and selected for further evolution.
The Life Forms with the least number are removed.
The Life Forms with the largest numbers are retained.
The retained Life Forms are then combined to produce a mutated offspring that is included in the next generation.
The process is repeated for further Generations 000 to 010.
The outcome of all these Generations is an evolutionary process.
Each generation is randomly exchanged for the resources, environment and energy of the field.
Each former generation forms the future resources, environment and energy of the field that the next generation can be evolved from.
The final Life Forms are mutated, linear, energy, resource and environment dependant.
They are the fittest of their species.
The process also indicates a correlation between dwindling population and depleting energy, resources and environment.
The end number of the population of Life Forms returns to the original 4 parent density but with multi- layers of generational mutation.
