Sources of protein
HBV
· Supply all essential amino acids
· Often in animal produce – eggs, meat, fish, dairy etc
· Soya beans
· Quorn – meat alternative (myco-protein)
LBV
· Vegetable sources (cereals, nuts, beans, pulses etc)
· Not all essential amino acids present
· Mixed together with other foods – provides all
