I am mainly interested in non-perturbative aspects of quantum field theory. The dynamics of many degrees of freedom strongly interacting represents one of the most fascinating subjects in physics and I investigate properties of these systems. Most of my research activities are focused on the phenomenon of confinement of quarks and gluons in quantum chromodynamics. I am also interested in the applications of methods of quantum field theory to condensed matter systems such as superconductors and most notably topological phases of matter and in the quantum information aspects of many-body theory.


My current research interests are : duality, confinement, quantum gauge theories, Gribov's problem, topological order, anomalies, Higgs mechanism, topological defects, defects condensation, quantum information, entropy of entanglement.
