Phonics/Spelling

Phonics instruction focuses on teaching students the relationships between sounds of the letters and the written symbols. In phonics instruction, students are taught to use these relationships to read and write words. Each week we will focus on a particular phonics skill and we will continue to apply these phonics skills throughout the year.
