Composition II Extra Credit

Extra Credit Opportunity #1, due 2-11-10

If you would like to rewrite your invective against any evil bill in the current New Mexico Legislative session, and send it as a letter to the editor of the Los Alamos Monitor, you may receive 20 points of extra credit. You must make it polished and concise, and turn in a copy to me next week.

Extra Credit opportunity #2, due end of semester

Go to the Homeschool Writers web site. Click on the "Contest Chart" in the left side column. On the chart, find a writing contest that looks fun to you, and prepare an entry. Make sure that you can complete the assignment before the due date listed on the chart. Turn in your entry to the contest, and also turn your entry in to me. On the copy you turn in to me, make sure you begin by stating the instructions/assignment for that contest (the rules and regulations, etc.) You may earn up to 20 points: I will grade your submission just like I would your homework. So essentially, it gives you an extra assignment's worth of points, and extra feedback on your writing!

To receive extra credit, turn in your submission to Circe before May 10, and give me a copy of it. You may receive 15 points extra credit for writing and turning in this essay.
