Course Description:
This course is designed to examine the major events in United States History from the forming of the United States of America to as close to the present day. Major emphasis will be placed on historical events and their correlation to present day America. There will also be a focus on citizenship and how community service develops a sense of civic responsibility. Class discussions, lectures, projects, papers, and various other activities will help guide us through this adventure.
